Security and support during life's difficult periods

Being in a challenging situation can be overwhelming, and it's often helpful to have a safe space where you can put your thoughts and feelings into words. I offer support sessions that are customised to your situation, whether you're in the midst of grief, a life crisis, or need help as a relative. These counselling sessions give you the tools and support to navigate through the challenges with greater clarity and inner strength.

Grief is a natural part of life, but it can feel overwhelming and all-consuming. Whether you've lost a loved one, a relationship, or are experiencing grief related to life changes, counselling can give you the space to process your emotions at your own pace.

What we work with:

  • Understanding the different stages of grief and how they can affect you.
  • Finding meaning and structure in everyday life after loss.
  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as guilt, anger or loneliness.

A breakup is one of life's most challenging transitions, both emotionally and practically. Through counselling, you can get help to process the breakup and build a new future.

What we work with:

  • Dealing with the emotions surrounding the loss of the relationship.
  • Developing strategies for a constructive transition, especially if children are involved.
  • Getting back to yourself and strengthening your self-esteem.

Being a carer for someone with mental health challenges can be both demanding and exhausting. Support conversations give you a space to reflect on your role, process your feelings and get practical advice on how to look after yourself and your loved one.

What we work with:

  • Dealing with stress and strain as a carer.
  • Understanding the disorder and how it affects relationships.
  • Setting healthy boundaries to avoid burnout.

Being a carer for someone with addiction challenges can be unpredictable, stressful and emotionally demanding. Support counselling provides you with a safe space to share experiences, sort out thoughts and feelings, and get support to stand firm in a difficult life situation. The aim is to help you take care of yourself while relating to your loved one in a more sustainable way.

What we work with:

  • Dealing with worry, stress and emotional strain as a carer.
  • Understanding addiction and how it affects behaviour, communication and relationships.
  • Setting clear and healthy boundaries to protect your health and prevent fatigue.

Living with a serious illness such as cancer or another chronic or life-threatening condition can trigger many strong emotions, such as fear, grief and uncertainty. Support counselling gives you the space to process these feelings and find meaning and strength in your everyday life.

What we work with:

  • Managing emotional reactions to the disease.
  • To strengthen coping and quality of life in the face of everyday challenges.
  • To explore how you can live with meaning and balance despite the disease.

Being a carer for someone who is seriously ill is a demanding task, both practically and emotionally. Through counselling, you can get help to cope with the strain and learn how to be a supporter of your loved one while taking care of your own health.

What we work with:

  • Processing emotions such as grief, guilt, fear or anger.
  • Finding practical and emotional strategies to deal with the situation.
  • Strengthening your resilience and finding a balance between your own needs and your caring role.

The conversations are customised to your needs and challenges, so you can find your way forward with greater confidence and strength
